Session 10 – Financial Check Up: Assess and reduce common bills

Cutting the cost of utility bills is a great way to free up cash for other things. This session is aimed at cutting the cost of Insurance, Utilities, Phone, Cable and Other bills.

session_beauty_10Each year, or even twice a year, you need to review if you are getting the best deal you can on all types of insurance policies you have and check that you are not paying for more coverage than you need. Another thing you want to review is your deductibles. If you are not using that gym three times a week, cancel your membership. Look for cheaper alternatives from cable companies that package your telephone, television and even broadband internet access to low cost dial-up services that give you access to cheaper calls using your existing land line. Look at every bill and you will be amazed at how much money you can save.
Once you learn how to negotiate $100’s in savings on everyday bills, you can free up cash for adding to your unplanned events fund, pay off debt or even be able to save enough to take a vacation.
